Timeback Diagnostic Disclaimer
The Timeback Diagnostic (the "Quiz") is a free, automated tool that gives you a high-level indication of where your business may be losing time to operational friction.
Not a Substitute for Professional Analysis
The automated insights, scores and prescribed actions generated by the Quiz are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute formal business, technical or financial advice.
Automated vs. Paid Engagements
The Quiz relies strictly on your self-reported answers and uses automated logic to suggest potential technical or operational solutions. This is distinctly separate from our full, paid consultancy services, which involve a comprehensive, hands-on audit of your operations, team and bespoke technology requirements.
Assumption of Risk
Any operational changes, software implementations or business decisions you make based solely on the automated Quiz results are made at your own risk. The Timeback Lab Company accepts no liability for outcomes resulting from the use of the free diagnostic tool.
Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
What Data We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, primarily when you complete the Timeback Diagnostic or contact us. This includes:
- Contact Information: Your email address and optional company name.
- Diagnostic Data: Your responses to the Quiz regarding your business size, role, and operational friction.
- Technical Data: Standard web analytics, such as IP addresses, browser types and usage data, to ensure our site runs securely and efficiently.
How We Use Your Data
We will only use your data for the following purposes:
- To deliver requested services: Generating your Timeback Score and emailing you the results and action plan.
- To send marketing communications: If you explicitly opt-in by ticking the consent box on our forms, we will send you the Timeback Toolkit, including operational tips, strategies and service updates.
- To improve our tools: Analysing aggregated, anonymised quiz data to refine our scoring logic and better understand the operational challenges of our visitors.
Third-Party Data Processors
We do not sell your data. We do use trusted, secure third-party platforms to capture, process and analyse the data you submit (such as secure form builders, cloud spreadsheets, data visualisation dashboards and web performance services). By using our services, you acknowledge that your data will be processed through these operational tools.
Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above. If you have opted into our marketing emails, we will retain your contact information until you choose to unsubscribe.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your data from our systems.
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Every marketing email we send contains a clear "Unsubscribe" link in the footer. Clicking this will immediately remove you from our marketing lists.
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, or have questions about how your data is handled, please contact us at legal@timebacklab.com.
